Running, Another Essential: 11/365

Running, like writing, is essential to my well-being. I’ve been back at 4.5 miles a day for the past year and it feels so good. It clears my head, makes me feel strong.

  1. This inspires me. I have to get back to running (though for me it’s only ever jogging — still amazing the way it transforms my mood and almost always sends me scurrying to write something).

  2. Me too! It’s amazing how I often start out headachy & cranky and come back feeling absolutely elated & ready to conquer. (Of course I still haven’t motivated myself to actually do it…in a while)
