Food for Thought: 97/365

Sometimes you don’t even realize how excited you are about something until you find out it isn’t going to happen.

When I got the disappointing news, I reached for potato chips. Just a handful. A salty distraction from my feelings. Mindfulness is supposed to be the key to avoiding unhealthy behavior, but I was fully mindful whilst eating those chips, so I kind of call bs on that.
