Wrapping Up

Before we left for Bass Pro Shop this morning, the toddler asked, “Are we all going? Together as a family?”

“Yes, we’re all going together!” I told her. And her face lit up.

This is usually an excursion she goes on with her dad while I write. We played a lot of pass-of-the-toddler this year. With just three posts left, I realize I’m feeling ready to wrap it up, make space, see what comes next.

    1. I don’t mean to make it sound so final! It’s just the daily practice that’s coming to an end. I’m so curious–and ready!–to know what it will feel like to take a week’s break and return fresh. šŸ™‚

  1. I almost think I didn’t come to your blog out of pre-emptive sadness about the fact that you were “leaving”/”wrapping up” from the daily practice. I mean, I did not do that consciously, but it occurs to me now one of those – you’re leaving! I’m leaving! type things…of course I’d never really *do* that, but I really have come to rely on your insight and gratitude and almost spiritual reverence for the everyday.
