Alone in my car singing at the top of my lungs is one of my favorite things.
Today I ran fast and sang loud. Did a hundred little invisible things. Took my sweet girl to mail her valentines before the post office closed. A friend surprised me with a gift, a book I’ve been longing to read, and I will stay up with it until I can’t keep my eyes open.
Running, like writing, is essential to my well-being. I’ve been back at 4.5 miles a day for the past year and it feels so good. It clears my head, makes me feel strong.
